Frozen Friday

Ok, so I am just a bit chilly this morning but I have a justified reason. I rode my motorcycle in this morning. (Yes this one has a motor on it).

Now the normal temperature in down town Seattle was stated at 38 degrees. But where we are, well let's just say that is a bit warmer. When I did finally reach a point to see the temp, I just laughed. 32, not too bad. Just cold enough to remind you, you can not fall asleep riding a bike. It's impossible.

Well... When it's that cold, only one thing helps, the fact that there is not a cloud in the sky and it's so blue out you know this afternoon is going to be hot. Ok so 50 degrees is not hot but since we have another 3 weeks of winter due to some ground hog on the other side of the US, 50 is hot.

There is I guess a location near here that uses a Frog much as the Eastern states use a ground hog.

I just want to meet the man that decided to 1. Let an animal tell us that we are in for more winter 2. Why when it's sunny and he sees his shadow, we get more winter, when logic to me, says that it's sunny and we should get nice weather. 3. The name, wow... I have to go and look up. 4. How do we know that is the same ground hog from last year or for that matter 10 years ago? I bet it's an imposter and no one wants to tell the world. 5. and of course, how the heck is that darn animal always right when our daily weather men/women have a hard time trying to get one out of 365 days right?

Just something to wonder.

So this afternoon, I will be driving the bike home in the warmth of 50 degrees, with the sun blinding me, because I didn't bring my glasses. (* little known fact... Washington people spend more money on sun glasses then any other state but less on umbrellas.)

Well the weekend is almost here, few more hours and it's all over baby. Yeah can you tell I live for my Fridays?
