Swamped Monday
Well I am now back in the saddle and I must say I didn't honestly mind the half days I took most of last week. In fact I think I could grow use to that life.
Hmm what a thought that is. hmm I better go and win the lottery so I can enjoy it.
Isn't it amazing that when the weather starts to turn nice, cool mornings and such that we want to run out and enjoy it. When it starts getting miserable when we first get up in the morning we don't run out and enjoy it. And when its winter, it just is never fun. At least here its always raining.
Have to find a sport that is meant to be played in the rain, besides football. hehe.
Where have I been? Well ... Lets see how much info to spare here.
four weeks ago I guess, I went to see the doc, and they did some tests. Two weeks ago Thursday I did an out of patent surgery to remove a cyst from my ovary. So I then took last week and did half days or worked from home, so I could recoup and heal up.
Yesterday morning, I played three hours of softball and am feeling fine. yep. I am good to go. Amazing what they can do isn't it. Tonight I have three more hours of sports and then I am cycling on tuesday. Wed I meet with the doctor one more time to get the ok that I can cycle outdoors.
Yep its been way to beautiful lately for me to cycle indoors. But I have been good. Running for softball does not seem to phase it but want to make sure the bumps of the outdoor roads are ok. So the week of the surgery I was only allowed to cycle on the trainer for a short amount of time.
Softball season started that weekend and I did manage to do the rain dance to prevent us from playing. So yesterday was everyone's first day back into softball season. I got lucky don't you think.
So that is what I have been doing, trying to get healthy and just keeping the feet moving forward. After wed. We should be back on the schedule for training and off to the races. I mean its only 9 weeks till the STP. Can you believe that?
